Artist: Aurora Filipescu
My name is Aurora Filipescu. This is my official website. I was born in Romania in 1970. I lived in U.S. for the last 15 years of my life and I am now residing in Los Angeles, CA.
I am a self-taught American artist whose passion for abstract art is driven by an inexplicable urge to experiment with feelings at a subconscious level. I experience sadness, hurt, fear, and anger in my paintings and somehow simultaneously I am driven by joy, love, and compassion as a fuel to create and manifest who I really am; an ambivalent being who believes that "Love is the answer to every question."
