Artist: Lapo Simeoni
Lapo Simeoni was born the 17th of September 1979 in Orbetello, ITALY.
He started his painting career with spray painting and for many years used it for large walls and big commissions in Italy and all over Europe. , and in 2002 he graduates at Central Saint Martin's School of Art and Design of London, (UK).
and has also started his studies of bad expressionism art on the big cities, he gets involved with the archaeological landscape industries of ; Rome, London, Moscow, as well as New York and Shanghai and will put these artworks, both in Western and Eastern countries collection and Galleryes. .
Around 2007 he started looking into the daily life of the middle class, seen around the world and brings it out in Empty city/mutant place in the Art Channel Gallery Beijing (China) in 2008. He finally becomes interested in 'Ikea' a perfect image of the middle class man with dreams and conflicts that are all very simular. Using different mediums, he puts them in his latest work. He lives and works now in Grosseto and Rome.
