In my work I try to capture movement in different ways. Lately I have been very interested in the idea of movement in nature. Everything that is around us is moving no matter if people are realizing this or not. On the most basic level atoms that compose every living matter are constantly vibrating. Light is constantly on a journey from the sun to earth, earth is spinning , oceans are swirling, cars are moving, people are walking and a whole universe is in constant motion that results in a cosmic dance.
In my work so far I explore two kinds of movement. First is the movement of the lines and shapes that make any drawing or painting more alive and more expressionistic. It leads the eye around the artwork and gives life to the piece.
Second type of movement that I am interested in is the movement of the human body in dance. Dance is a form of art that uses human body and mind connecting the two to make one. There is a lot of internal feelings and physiological reactions that happen when people dance. The body and mind learns how to move the energy around it and how to control thoughts so that a dancer can deliver a beautiful performance. I explore the musculature and human physiognomy that I believe to be the most beautiful and �perfect� design that was created on this planet. In a future I would like to explore the idea of dancing body on a deeper level and create a series of paintings that would take my viewer on this wonderful journey.
